Knowledge Base¶
Your assistant answers customer questions using the material you upload here — PDFs, Word documents, FAQs and website content.
Uploading¶
- Open Knowledge Base (or the Upload your knowledge base step on your dashboard).
- Upload your files. After upload, Page-Nest indexes each file so the assistant can search it.
- Wait for each item to reach Completed. Large files take a few minutes.
Publishing waits for indexing
You can't go live while documents are still indexing. Just wait for them to finish.
Tips¶
- Upload text-based PDFs/documents — scanned, image-only PDFs may not be searchable.
- Keep documents focused; clear, well-structured content gives better answers.
